March 2026 – The Wheel of Challenges
In March, the Year 3 pupils of the 2nd Primary School of Malesina, together with their teacher, Ioanna Sarrou, participated in another exciting collaborative activity of our eTwinning project entitled "The Wheel of Challenges."
The aim of this activity was to encourage students to learn more about the cultures, traditions, and languages of their European partners through fun and interactive challenges.
Each pair of partner schools worked together to create a Wheel of Challenges. The wheel included questions and activities related to the culture, customs, traditions, language, landmarks, and everyday life of the partner country. By spinning the wheel, the students completed different challenges, discovering interesting facts and learning more about the countries participating in our project.
Our pupils enthusiastically took part in the activity, working collaboratively, exchanging ideas, and exploring the unique characteristics of different European cultures. They enjoyed solving the challenges while improving their communication, critical thinking, and teamwork skills.
The Wheel of Challenges transformed learning into an enjoyable game, motivating students to explore Europe's rich cultural diversity in a creative and engaging way. Through this activity, they strengthened their intercultural awareness, broadened their knowledge, and realized that learning about other countries helps us understand, respect, and appreciate one another.
This activity was another valuable experience in our eTwinning journey, bringing us even closer to our European friends and proving once again that learning is more meaningful when we learn together.
